The true location of a grant of land from the state of Kentucky to William Spurlock, made April 11, 1853, is the subject of this litigation. The patent describes the land as follows:

"Lying and being in the county of Clay on the waters of Bullskin or Spurlock branch and bounded as followeth (to wit): Beginning at a corner of a 50-acre survey made in the name of Wm. Spurlock and bounded as followeth...
