This is a suit in equity, brought in the circuit court, city of Norfolk, Va., by W. W. Houston and Paul L. James, late partners trading in the name of Panhandle Coal Company against Dexter & Carpenter, Inc., defendant, and afterward removed to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

W. W. Houston and Paul L. James were partners in the wholesale coal business...
