ROSE, Circuit Judge.

In every one of these six cases, the United States, as the owner of the respective steamships mentioned in their titles, recovered a decree for demurrage against the appellant, the F. S. Royster Guano Company, a Virginia corporation, and which, in 1920, had chartered the ships to carry phosphate rock from Port Tampa, Fla., to Baltimore, Md.

One of the charter parties, that of the steamship Winooski, as to lay days and demurrage, was identical...
