This is a suit in equity to obtain relief by injunction and to recover damages for the alleged infringement by the defendant of United States letters patent No. 1,601,575, issued to Lewis C. Marshall, assignor by mesne assignments to the Simplex Piston Ring Company of America, for piston packing, dated September 28, 1926.
