STONE, Circuit Judge.

This is an action by the Northern Pacific Railway Company against the Washburn-Crosby Company, for a balance due for freight charges on various carload shipments of grain, from points in Canada to Minneapolis, shortly prior to January 22, 1921. From a judgment, favoring plaintiff, defendant sues this writ of error.

All of these shipments were made under joint rates filed and participated in by the Canadian and American carriers moving...
