The plaintiff in this cause is the Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Company of Baltimore City, a Maryland corporation. Whenever there is occasion to distinguish it from any other body corporate, it will be referred to as the Maryland Company, and when there is not, it will be more briefly styled the Company.
