HENNING, District Judge.

This is an application for probation on behalf of the defendant. The defendant, with others, was charged with a violation of section 215 of the Criminal Code (Comp. St. § 10385), by having operated a fraudulent scheme through the use of the mails. The trial was had before my predecessor in office, Hon. Benjamin F. Bledsoe.
