Plaintiff seeks to recover damages of the defendant as the owner of a building destroyed by fire, in which he is alleged to have suffered personal injuries, due to certain acts of negligence of defendant in not complying with the laws of the state with respect to fire escapes, etc. Defendant has filed pleas of unconstitutionality of said statutes and of no cause of action.
