The pleadings now before the court are so voluminous, and so involved, as to make difficult an intelligent statement of their contents. No little effort has been expended in an attempt to set forth the exact situation in which the parties find themselves after the succession of pleadings, counter pleadings, and motions that have characterized this suit.
