Cheek sued the Prudential Insurance Company of America in the Circuit Court of St. Louis to recover damages upon a cause of action set forth in two counts: First, that the company being a New Jersey corporation conducting a life insurance business in Missouri under license of the insurance department of that State, and plaintiff having been for more than ten years continuously employed in its service...
