This suit was brought by the United States to cancel certain conveyances of allotted lands, made by Choctaw Indians in alleged violation of restrictions. The Circuit Court sustained a demurrer to the bill upon the grounds that the United States was not entitled to maintain a suit of this character; that there was a defect of parties, owing to the absence of the Indian grantors, and that the bill was multifarious...
