The contention of the appellee is that no valid entry can be made under the Desert Land act of land within the place limits of a land grant to railroad corporations; that therefore the attempted entry was absolutely void, and that if he had fully complied with the provisions of that act he could not have acquired a good title to the lands entered; that he was therefore justified in abandoning...
