It is an action for the value of a cow alleged to have been killed by the engine and cars of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company, a corporation doing business in the County of Leavenworth, in that State. It was brought in a State District Court, and submitted for decision upon an agreed statement of facts, in substance as follows...
