[+] Daniel on PEOPLE v. BUTLER
While reading on about all of this there are a lot of things that really bother me, The car was stopped for the tail-lights, what then rightfully should've happened is at most a fix it ticket for the defendent who for the most part was entirely civil, had broken no laws up to that point, and it was his passenger that happened to be on search and seizure, so search the passenger, but the officer had no right whatsoever to search the defendants vehicle, the defendant ought to win his appeal

All the "conclusory" talk about the waiver of an appeal is a very convenient way for the prosecution to railroad the defendant and show their prejudiced favor of this unjust officers actions (officer Lee) Yes of course there ought to be an appeal , irregardless of a said waiver to appeal or whatever, just waive in another waiver to appeal the defendents waiver of his rights to appeal. just the notion of such nonsense in the first place is pure un-american and unconstitutional, a violation of civil rights. If that's all that the prosecution is clinging to , and settling with than they should be ashamed and be hanging their heads

I am the defendant in this case and it's appalling to see how my attorney has thrown me under the bus for her failure to file the rejection of award within the required time period. The attorney was late in filing the rejection -- PERIOD! When I retained this attorney, I asked her if she wanted me to give her a check up front for costs like I did for a previous attorney I retained. She never responded. I am angry and annoyed by this but also thankful. The appeal shows she never paid attention to the deadline for filing. If she was aware of the deadline and she knew she did not have the fee in hand, why didn't she ask for it? She claims I didn't have the funds and that caused her to file late? But she wound up paying the fee out of her own pocket! If she was mindful of the time frame and the deadline was looming, why would she pay out of pocket late? I'm declaring Shenanigan's on this one!! ps: I'm a EE from IIT; been in construction 30+ yrs. I had the $750.

We watched segment on Dateline, part 1&2. It would of been interesting to know if the 6 men in car had been at the defendant’s cabin in the past…. When it had previously been ‘ransacked.’ They were looking for a party, or a place to party. They had made several trips there & knew the way. Wondered if any ‘evidence’ from previous ‘ransacking’ was saved/retained, that could be compared to the 6 individual’s DNA. Speaking to a pattern of behavior. Doesn’t appear that Everyone investigating case was Intrested in all the evidence, otherwise testing for gunshot residue would of been done on all 6 individuals in car. The three shells found on the road did match up with the defendant’s account of events, even though DA successfully distracted jury from that very important fact. What are the odds of 3 shells being found, & matching up with defendant’s account of events. There’s more to this, justice was not true justice in this case. Heartbreaking. We hope it get corrected!

This case is bullshit. They never intended to murder anyone. No one told the owner to grab the gun. It should be overturned and time served for robbery.

It is not fair what Utube and google did with Mr. Vasallo’s property, so both should pay Mr. Vasallo all the moneys they got from showing his properties and stop and deceit from doing that theft of Mr. Vasallo ‘s properties.

My name is Wally Wazan. I have decided to reach out to you all regarding the civil case posted / published on Google. The case is closed now due to the false allegations, it is unfortunate that the case results are not I do understand your position and your rights. However, I do have the courtesy to ask you kindly to remove this. The allegations were false and very disturbing where it is obvious the plaintiff was after a cash out. However, what left now, is my reputation and the harm this case has on me personally as a lawful citizen. I am trying to remedy the damage this matter had on me psychologically and my family. I am hoping you will be kind enough to take part and perform a good deed helping recover from this matter. I look forward to hearing from you!
