OPINION

BROOKS, Presiding Judge.

The dispositive issue in this appeal is whether a person must file a claim asserting an ownership interest in property in order to challenge the state's action seeking to forfeit that property under A.R.S. section 13-4311. We answer in the affirmative and affirm the judgment of the trial court.
