Holly Crawford appealed from a judgment of sentence entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Luzerne County following her conviction by a jury on the charges of cruelty to animals, 18 Pa.C.S.A. §§ 5511(a)(2.1)(i)(A) and (c)(1) in relation to attempts to turn three kittens into "gothic cats" by piercing their ears and necks as well as banding their tails.
