Alicja Kania Wroblewska, the petitioner, is a citizen of Poland who came to the United States on a visitor's visa in 1994. She overstayed her visa and was caught allegedly trying to bribe an immigration officer in November 1999 in Operation Durango, a sting operation with which we have become quite familiar.
