Defendant Paul Hochman was convicted in the Municipal Court of the Town of Montclair of operating his motor vehicle in violation of the compulsory insurance provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:6B-2. His driver's license was suspended for six months, and he was fined $50. Defendant appealed to the Law Division where, after a trial de novo on the record below, he was again found guilty and the same sentence...
