In Genesee Prosecutor v Genesee Circuit Judge, 386 Mich. 672, 684-685; 194 N.W.2d 693 (1972), this Court held that a trial judge does not have authority, over the objection of the prosecutor, to accept a plea of guilty to an offense not charged in the information and that the judge had erred in allowing a defendant charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle
