In this breach of contract action, the plaintiffs obtained a judgment against the defendant following a bench trial. After trial the plaintiffs filed a motion for attorney's fees and costs under Iowa Rule of Civil Procedure 134(c). In their motion the plaintiffs alleged the defendant unreasonably denied their requests for admission. Following the defendant's appeal from the judgment, the district court held that the defendant had indeed unreasonably...
