In this lawsuit, petitioner Grady Gibson, an Alabama state inmate convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, seeks federal habeas relief. The respondents are Ralph Hooks, a state warden, and Troy King, Attorney General of the State of Alabama. For reasons that follow, relief will be denied.
