The appellant, Antavis Davon Mills, was indicted by a Dale County grand jury for attempted murder, see § 13A-6-2 and § 13A-4-2, Ala.Code 1975; kidnapping in the first degree, see § 13A-6-43, Ala.Code 1975; and felony murder, see § 13A-6-2(a)(3), Ala.Code 1975.
