The petitioners, E.R.G. and D.W.G., grandparents of minor children, challenge the decision of the Court of Civil Appeals, which, among other things, upheld § 30-3-4.1, Ala.Code 1975, the Alabama Grandparent Visitation Act ("the Act"), against a constitutional challenge by E.H.G. and C.L.G., the parents of the minor children.1 E.H.G. v.
