SIMMS v. STATE

No. 04-17-00119-CR.

Jasmine SIMMS, Appellant, v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee.

Court of Appeals of Texas, Fourth District, San Antonio.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Dante Dominguez , for Jasmine Dangela Simms, Appellant.

Nicholas A. LaHood , for State of Texas.

ORDER

SANDEE BRYAN MARION, Chief Justice.

The reporter's record was originally due to be filed in this appeal on April 7, 2017. On April 7, 2017, the court reporter responsible for preparing the record, Ms. Debra Doolittle, filed a notification of late record requesting a thirty day extension of time to file the reporter's record. The extension was granted, extending the deadline to May 8, 2017. The reporter's record was not filed by the extended deadline.

It is therefore ORDERED that Ms. Doolittle file the reporter's record in this court no later than June 7, 2017. Because "[t]he trial and appellate courts are jointly responsible for ensuring that the appellate record is timely filed," TEX. R. APP. P. 35.3(c), the clerk of the court is directed to serve a copy of this order on the Honorable Jefferson Moore, Judge of the 186th Judicial District Court.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 12th day of May, 2017.
