MUNN v. SMITH COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT

No. 12-17-00094-CV.

JEFFREY ANDREW MUNN, Appellant, v. SMITH COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT, Appellee.

Court of Appeals of Texas, Twelfth District, Tyler.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Hugh L. McKenney , for Jeffrey Andrew Munn, Appellant.

Sandra L. Griffin , for Smith County Appraisal District, Appellee.

Panel consisted of Worthen, C.J., Hoyle, J., and Neeley, J.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM.

This appeal is being dismissed for want of jurisdiction. On April 4, 2017, this Court notified Appellant, Jeffrey Andrew Munn, that the information received in this appeal does not show the jurisdiction of this Court, i.e., there is no timely notice of appeal or timely motion for extension of time to file a notice of appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 26.1, 26.3, 37.2. Munn was further notified that the appeal would be dismissed unless the information was amended on or before April 14, to show the jurisdiction of this Court. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3. This deadline has now passed, and Munn has neither shown the jurisdiction of this Court nor otherwise responded to its April 4 notice. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3(a).

JUDGMENT

THIS CAUSE came on to be heard on the appellate record, and the same being considered, it is the opinion of this Court that it is without jurisdiction of the appeal, and that the appeal should be dismissed.

It is therefore ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED by this Court that this appeal be, and the same is, hereby dismissed for want of jurisdiction; and that this decision be certified to the court below for observance.
