THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, Respondent, v. CHARLES BRASWELL, Appellant.

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, First Department.

Decided April 20, 2017.

Defendant did not preserve his argument that the court failed to follow the proper procedures in denying his request for youthful offender treatment (see People v Samms, 95 N.Y.2d 52, 57 [2000]), and we decline to review these claims in the interest of justice. As an alternative holding, we find them unavailing.
