Defendant was charged in a seven-count indictment with various crimes arising from the theft of property from her employer. In satisfaction thereof, she pleaded guilty to grand larceny in the second degree and was to be sentenced to no more than 3 to 9 years in prison. A civil judgment had been entered against defendant in the amount of $349,000 in connection with the theft, and the plea agreement included a provision that defendant would make restitution in such amount....
