On October 14, 2010, the Jefferson Parish Grand Jury indicted defendant, Denord M. King, for second degree murder, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1, and obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:130.1. At the arraignment, defendant pled not guilty.
