Defendant, Lawrence Mangerchine, was convicted by jury of negligent homicide in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:32. After the denial of his motion for new trial, he was sentenced to five years at hard labor, with three years of the sentence suspended, giving credit for time served. Defendant now appeals, alleging that the trial court erred in denying his motion for new trial.
