MEMORANDUM OPINION

COLLEEN KOLLAR-KOTELLY, District Judge.

"Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?"

These chilling words are said to have been spoken by Adolf Hitler in 1939 in reference to the largely successful efforts by the Ottoman Turkish government to eliminate the Armenian population living on its historic homeland during the World War I era, known today as the Armenian Genocide.1
