This appeal requires us once again to wade into the morass of litigation involving mortgage foreclosures under Michigan law. In this case, Plaintiff Michael Conlin seeks to have the foreclosure sale of his property in Ann Arbor, Michigan set aside based on alleged defects in the assignment of the mortgage on the property from Defendant Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems to Defendant U.S. Bank.
