Following a jury trial, Alfred Sanchez was convicted of one count of mail fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1341 and his co-defendant Aaron Del Valle was convicted of one count of perjury. Sanchez appeals contending that the erroneous admission of certain evidence was not harmless error and that city jobs are not "money or property" for purposes of 18 U.S.C. § 1341.
