Rekomdiv International, Inc. ("Rekomdiv") and Richard Domingo (collectively "defendants") appeal from a district court judgment. Portugues-Santana v. Rekomdiv Int'l, Inc., No. 07-1103 (D.P.R. Apr. 28, 2010). The district court awarded damages against the defendants in the amount of $625,000 based on a jury verdict finding the defendants liable for "dolo" (i.e., fraud).
