A jury convicted defendants Charles Nero, Damion Thompson, and Duane Cornelius Palm of conspiracy to commit murder, first degree murder with special circumstance and firearm findings, and attempted premeditated murder. Thompson and Palm were also convicted of drug offenses. The trial court imposed terms of life without the possibility of parole (LWOP) on all three defendants for special circumstance...
