Chernow entered a plea of guilty before preliminary hearing to 18 counts of possession of matter depicting a minor engaging in sexual conduct in violation of Penal Code section 311.4, subdivision (d) (possession of child pornography) in order to accept an indicated sentence of five years of felony probation on various conditions including service of 365 days in county jail.
