This is an employer intentional tort case. The plaintiff, Paul Medlen, was wounded when a co-worker, Myles Meyers, entered the DaimlerChrysler Toledo North Assembly Plant with a concealed shotgun, which he used to kill another employee and wound the plaintiff and another worker. Plaintiff claims that DaimlerChrysler created and had actual knowledge of a dangerous condition [i.e., the risk of Meyers's violent actions] at the plant...
