On March 24, 2006, this Court invited members of the Rhode Island Bar and other interested persons to offer written comment, on or before May 24, 2006 (subsequently extended to June 23, 2006), on the proposed new Rhode Island Rules of Professional Conduct with Proposed Comments which had then recently been drafted by our Committee to Review the Rules of Professional Conduct (the committee) and which had been submitted to us by the committed for our consideration...
