James Patrick O'Neal and Elizabeth O'Neal were married on June 18, 1977. In June 1994, the wife sued for a divorce on the grounds of incompatibility. Following an ore tenus hearing, the trial court entered a judgment of divorce. The judgment granted custody of the parties' minor child to the wife and ordered the husband to pay $1,200 per month child support.
