The plaintiffs, Robert and Hattie Mayfield, appeal from an order which dismissed numerous counts of their second-amended complaint with prejudice based on the exclusive remedy of the Workers' Compensation Act (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 48, par. 138.5(a)).
