The defendant, John Raue, was charged with the offenses of first degree murder (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 9-1) and concealment of homicidal death (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 9-3.1). The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge of concealment of homicidal death and received an extended term sentence of 10 years' imprisonment.
