On October 8, 1987 Kerry Myers and William Fontanille were charged, by Grand Jury Indictment, with conspiracy to murder their respective spouses and with second degree murder in the beating death of Janet Myers, defendant Kerry Myers' wife. Myers and Fontanille pled not guilty at arraignments on November 3, 1987 and November 17, 1987, respectively.
