Michael Kinsela was contacted by the State of Idaho Department of Finance after he ran two commercial advertisements in the local Yellow Pages and circulated stationary representing himself as a "registered investment adviser." The Department of Finance informed Kinsela that he was required to register under Idaho law as an investment adviser, and that in the interim the Department would inform members of the public who inquired that Kinsela...
