This is an appeal by the state of an order quashing and dismissing two misdemeanor indictments charging Bosque County Judge Regina Hanson with attempting to coerce a public servant. The state alleged that she intentionally and knowingly threatened to terminate the county's funding of the salaries of a deputy district clerk and an assistant district attorney in an attempt to coerce the district judge into firing the county auditor...
