Defendant Kim Mangum appeals from a judgment holding him liable for fraud in connection with an investment by the plaintiffs Ardell and Frances Galloway in the now defunct Afco Development Corporation ("Afco"). We affirm.

Mangum was a next door neighbor to the Galloways and well acquainted with them. In 1979, Galloways had at their disposal a fund accumulated for their retirement. Mangum discussed with Galloways the prospect of investing...
