The plaintiffs, three registered voters of Hampshire County, who are also the editors of the Daily Hampshire Gazette newspaper, brought suit against the defendant, Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee (school committee). The suit sought the release of the minutes of private executive sessions which the defendant held on December 3, 1984, February 11 and 28, 1985, March 9, 11 and 12, 1985, and April 9, 1985...
