CHEHARDY, Chief Judge.

Douglas A. DiLosa appeals his conviction by a jury of the second-degree murder of his wife, Glinda Whitmore DiLosa, for which he received the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence, under LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. The defendant has raised six assignments of error, the most significant of which challenges the sufficiency of the evidence.
