SAM BASS, Justice.

M.J. Sheridan and Son, Co., Inc., sued Seminole Pipeline Company alleging that Seminole had breached its contract with Sheridan by failing to provide Sheridan with a pipeline easement and that this damaged Sheridan because it was unable to proceed with its contract. Sheridan also sought recovery on theories of fraud and quantum meruit. After a jury trial, the court entered a directed verdict as to the fraud and quantum meruit causes...
