GUIDRY, Judge.

This case arose out of a vehicular collision on Louisiana Highway 384 (Big Lake Road) in Calcasieu Parish. The accident occurred when a trailer carrying an aluminum pontoon boat disengaged from its hauling vehicle and collided with a 1982 Pontiac Grand Prix. The driver of the Grand Prix, Louis E. Geisler, Jr., was killed in the accident.
