ALFORD, Judge.

Glenn Abbott was charged by bill of information with possession of phencyclidine in violation of La.R.S. 40:964, Schedule I(D)(2), and 40:966(C). After initially entering a plea of not guilty, he later withdrew that plea and entered a plea of guilty. Defendant was subsequently sentenced to serve three years imprisonment at hard labor.1

In bringing this appeal, defendant urges that the sentence imposed was excessive...
