On November 13, 1975, defendants Wilfredo Corsino-Meléndez, Lydia Esther Pagán, Wilfredo Ramos-Leduc, and Felícita Prado-Ojeda, subscribed a promissory note payable to the bearer, with interest at the rate of 10¾ per cent per annum, guaranteed by a mortgage, for a loan of $50,000 payable to P.R.
